Host Van Johnson sings Wilkommen accompanied by gorgeous dancers, and celebrated Liza Minnelli contributes Cabaret and I Will Waite for You. A wacky illusionist supplies comedy, along with Mickey Rooney who appears in a baseball sketch with Van Johnson, and George Carlin discusses Christopher Columbus's shipboard problems. The Palace Duo acrobats complete the show.
