DESCRIPTION
Richard Greene plays Robin Hood, the dashing hero of Sherwood Forest in this adventure series set in medieval England. Robin Hood robs the rich and gives to the poor, liberates oppressed peasants and rescues maidens - all to the exasperation of the evil sheriff of Nottingham. Three episodes on one volume:
- THE INQUISITOR - When the Archbishop visits, Tuck is arrested by the Abbot to stop him relating the activities in Nottingham, namely those of the Sheriff and his cronies. Robin and Little John plan a rescue but Robin is captured! Guest Stars: Carl Bernard, Lloyd Pearson.
- BLACKMAIL - A man accidently overhears Robin, Marian and the band talking. Prince John is coming to Nottingham, and the man blackmails Sir Richard of the Lea for being in league with the outlaws. Robin impersonates the Sheriff and turns the tables on the blackmailer. Guest Stars: Ian Hunter, Anthony Dawson, Patricia Burke.
- CHANGE OF HEART - Friar Tuck, now living in Tintern Abbey, sends for Robin's help against Lord Humphrey, who is planning to expel the Celts from the Forest of Dean, where they have lived for centuries. Guest Stars: Michael Ripper, Eddie Byrne.
