Gritty "B" movie drama starring Lloyd Bridges as the owner of a fishing boat whose vessel is desired by smugglers to ship illegal immigrants out of Mexico into the U.S. Bridges is trying to smash the smuggler's illegal activities, all the while under the watchful eye of U.S. immigration. Nancy Gates co-stars as a supposed femme fatale who turns out to be one of the good guys.
