DESCRIPTION
A classic story set in 1640 France. Cyrano, the charismatic swordsman-poet with an absurd nose, hopelessly loves the beautiful Roxanne. She, in turn, confesses to Cyrano her love for the handsome but tongue-tied Christian. Cyrano feeds poetry to Christian to help him win Roxanne. Jose Ferrer captured the Oscar for best actor in 1950 for his performance as Cyrano. Based on the play by Armand Edmonde.
